How Two People Can Both Be Right
Most relational conflict is not actually a disagreement about facts. It is two different, valid experiences of the same event, each shaped by different histories, different nervous systems, different needs in that moment. "You were too harsh" and "I was just being honest" can both be true at once, from inside two different bodies. The goal is rarely to determine who is objectively correct. It is to hold both experiences as real without either person having to lose theirs. That shift, from debate to double witness, is often what actually ends the argument.
